Tikxi sat on a ledge that overlooked the Marketplace. She turned to look at Axel and Demyx, but they had disappeared into swirls of darkness. A noise from the Marketplace below her caught her attention, and she giggled.

Axel had re-materialized beside a random patron and poked them in the side, then vanished just as quickly. He appeared again behind a couple holding hands, and lit a fire just behind their hands. When it got hot enough that they both yelped and jumped away from each other in pain, Axel was gone again, finding someone else to torment.

On the other side of the square, Demyx was having his own bit of fun. He would appear behind a person, and sprinkle water over their head, disappearing when the person would look up for a raincloud. Or, he would be holding some kind of large stringed instrument--Was that a sitar? Really?--and strum a few notes, making heads turn before vanishing again.

Tikxi smiled with glee as the two pranksters avoided detection. She decided to add to the fun by summoning three little snow ferrets and setting them loose upon the population. They proceeded to snatch and hide random items, mostly shiny watches and trinkets. She watched the harmless fun, kicking her legs against the ledge.

A hand on her shoulder caught her off guard and she fell forward...into Axel's waiting arms.

"Easy there, killer," he chuckled, hovering and holding her close for just a moment before lifting her back up onto the edge. When her little feet hit the pavement, and she was secure on the ground, Tikxi whipped her arm around and gave Axel a good hard punch on the shoulder.

"Wha--what was that for?" Axel half-grinned, and Tikxi stuck her tongue out at him in response. Demyx appeared behind her and pushed her again. She tried to catch her balance, but fell into Axel's arms again.

"Stop that, you two!" she laughed, pushing Axel away and scrambling back onto the ledge. She walked a few paces back from it as Axel and Demyx chortled in amusement. Suddenly, Demyx's face lost some color, his grin faded, and he thwacked Axel with the back of his hand. Axel looked at him, then followed his gaze to something behind Tikxi. His face fell.

"What?" Tikxi looked behind her, and then sighed. Standing there, shrouds of darkness fading, were two more Organization members. One of them looked like a football player--What the heck is football?--tall, huge, and menacing. The smaller figure to his left must be "one woman" Saïx had mentioned: a fierce looking blonde with some crazy bangs. Both of them looked ready for a fight.

"Aw, maaaaaan," Demyx hunched his shoulders as the other two approached.

"You're gonna get it," the woman said in a mean-girl voice, jabbing a finger into Axel's chest. "The Superior is fed up with you as it is; what made you think you could be such losers, riling up the locals? Don't the words, 'Lay low,' mean anything to you?"

"Aw, c'mon sweetheart," Axel gave her a sugar-coated grin as he took the girl's jabbing hand and held it close to his chest, leaning down to put his face close to hers, and lowering his voice. "You know I like it rough, but really--"

"Ugh!" the girl snapped her hand back with a look of disgust covering her pretty face. Axel gave her a smug grin and flashed a look at Demyx, who couldn't hide an amused smile.

"Seriously. Losers." The girl noticed Tikxi watching and gave her a cold, hard glare. "Who the frack is this?"

"This is our new friend, Tikxi," Axel crossed the space between them and put an arm around Tikxi's shoulders. "Now, don't get mad, Larxene, darling. You said we had an 'open relationship'--"

"For the sake of all that's heartless!" The girl--Larxene--threw up her hands in an annoyed temper. "I don't care who she is! She could be one of Vexen's toys for all I care. Just get back to the Superior's ASAP, or your ass is grass." With that, Larxene turned her back on the group and crossed her arms.

"PMS much?" Axel mumbled under his breath so that only Tikxi could hear, and she stiffled a giggle. "Alright, yeah, yeah, we're on our way, my love." With that, Axel gave a wave of a salute as he and Demyx faded away into dark shrouds, barely dodging an icy glare by Larxene.

"Let's get out of here," Larxene rolled her eyes. "C'mon Lexaeus."

"What about the girl?" the orange-haired giant spoke for the first time in a low, gravelly voice. One massive hand landed gently on Tikxi's shoulder.

"Whatever. I don't care," Larxene waved a dismissive hand as she, too, faded into a dark shroud. Lexaeus looked down at Tikxi, obviously wondering how to ditch her quietly.

"I know Saïx," Tikxi offered. "He might not like it if you kill me. He kind of owes me one."

Lexaeus seemed to ponder this for a moment, then shrugged. "You come with us then." With that, Tikxi felt a cold pull at her hollow chest, everything blurred into blackness, and just as quickly, her vision cleared. She found herself in an apartment much like her own, only much larger, and more lavishly furnished.

"Ah, Tikxi," a familiar voice came from beside her. Saïx stood there, watching her with those unblinking golden eyes.

"We meet again."
